A Plastic Recycling Company
We are a "plastic recycling company" please don’t make the mistake of assuming that any company saying they are a plastic recycling company are actually a "recycling company"! Most companies who sell themselves as plastic recyclers are in fact simply exporters.
In essence they fill a container with plastic scrap and ship it to who offers the most money for it, usually although not always to Asia, there is in essence nothing wrong with that, although we believe it makes much more sense to use as much material here in the UK and Western Europe rather than shipping it around the world and an exporter should be called just that an "exporter".
Plastic recyclers like us are actually quite rare we take in plastic scrap, and convert it in our factory in the UK to make a usable feed stock for another manufacture to use in place of using virgin polymers - recycling as it should be!

Shredding / granulation and secure destruction
We have the ability to shred and/or granulate large volumes of plastic; the shredders we have installed in our factory will accept lump plastic of up to 200kg with ease.
All material that enters our plant passes over magnets and through an “all metal” metal detector, which ensures that, any ferrous or non-ferrous metal is removed. Depending upon the requirements the shredded material is either returned, sold, granulated or compounded.
If the case of secure destruction, components or product can be shredded for the purpose of destruction and to liberate any recoverable material from them.
We have recently installed a further large capacity shredder with both drum magnet and an eddy current separation unit to remove both ferrous and non-ferrous material from regrinds feedstock. This proves to be especially suited to removing `inserts` from injection moulded parts and ensuring the removal of all metal for the finished products.

Reprocessing
A further plastic recycling process reprocesisng involves melting the polmer to form a unifom dust free product.
Our reprocessing plant is capable of producing a very high quality product, material that goes through our plant is treated, removing all forms of contamination such as paper, wood, metal and moisture. This process creates a clean dust free, easy flowing material, which produces a high quality uniform product.
This service is also available as a toll process where we process your feedstock into a pellet form therefore allowing you to re-introduce the material back into your production.

Blending
During the reprocessing process the material is blended to create a uniform finished product, however further blending bulk batches of either virgin or other polymers can enhance this.
Our blending equipment is high quality, high capacity and capable of drawing up to one ton of material in approximately just three minutes. Comfortably blending in excess of 50 tons a day.
